Bramble Cottage was originally part of the famous Rolls Estate. Many of the Estate Cottages were sold off by the Estate some years ago.  Set in scenic countryside and close to the Rolls Golf course, they have been particularly sought after by buyers wanting bespoke country cottages which are all different and yet compliment each other; creating a hamlet which is particularly attractive and convenient.

The Cottage is situated on a country lane and is one of two charming adjoining cottages, having an exceptionally well maintained large garden and surrounded by woodland and nature.  You approach the cottage along a sweeping driveway, entering the rear of the property where the superb garden is revealed.    The current owners have extended and greatly improved the cottage and it now offers three attractive reception rooms which include a conservatory overlooking the rear gardens. Enjoying entertaining, the vendors have upgraded the kitchen and added a large formal dining room. The sitting room, with elevated views towards Raglan offers a great deal of character with beams and a fireplace fitted with a multi fuel burner which provides heat throughout the house - particularly cosy on winter evenings!

A latch door takes you from the sitting room up the staircase to the upper floor.  There are two large bedrooms with fantastic views to the front and rear of the property, with the third bedroom currently being used as a dressing room with another defined area with washing facilities (WC,  bidet and vanity wash hand basin).   This room could easily be returned to use as the third bedroom.   The master bedroom has the benefit of a second staircase which leads down to the dining room.

Outside there is a timber cabin, currently used as a small studio/office with power and views of the garden. There are two garages; a single one to the front and a large garage workshop at the rear with a lean to greenhouse attached. The workshop has fitted benches and timber storage into the roof space. The greenhouse has an established vine from which the owners make their own wine.  There is also a fig tree. Further outbuildings offer facilities for log storage.

The front gardens have been landscaped with feature gravel/timber terraces which include well planted and established flower borders and a pond. To the rear is a very large parking area plus lawns and further flower borders. In all approximately .22acre. Neighbouring woodland and pond in the dell make the rear gardens private.

IN SUMMARY (AGENTS OPINION)

If you are seeking the "country life" then this really is for you.  The cottage has a fabulous "chocolate box" appearance and a you feel a sense of tranquillity as soon as you arrive.  The stresses and strains of the day just fade away!    As can be seen immediately, the gardens and home have been lovingly cared for by the present owners and the cottage has been sympathetically styled, which befits the great setting and character of the property.

The hamlet itself is charming with delightful individual cottages in a lovely setting, particularly close to the famous golf course (just down the lane and across the road) and nearby Monmouth Town . Bramble Cottage is one of two semi detached cottages that are positioned with large gardens so that you are hardly aware you are attached at all.
Come rain or shine Bramble Cottage offers everything you need in an enviable position.  This really is a charming cottage in a rural idyll - a lovely hidden gem!!

We cannot recommend viewing highly enough.
